On the morning of September 8, 2021, the groundbreaking ceremony of the S&S glove factory project, which is being invested by S&S Glove Joint Stock Company and constructed by Viteccons Construction Investment Joint Stock Company as the general contractor, took place successfully at Dat Do I Industrial Park in Phuoc Long Tho commune, Dat Do district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. The ceremony was attended by local authorities, representatives of the Investor, representatives of the General Contractor, and important partners participating in the project.

The SS Glove factory will be constructed on a 16.4-hectare area and designed to have a total capacity of producing 7 billion gloves per year. The technology used in the factory is transferred from leading glove manufacturers around the world. Once completed, it will become one of the largest glove factories in Vietnam.

Viteccons, as the general contractor, will be responsible for implementing phase 1 of the project which includes reinforced concrete structure, finishing, infrastructure, and M&E. The construction items are expected to be completed within 6 months. The urgent need for medical gloves due to the Covid-19 pandemic has led Viteccons' Board of Directors to prioritize this project as one of the company's key focuses in 2021. Viteccons is committed to completing the project on schedule and with the best quality to help the Employer supply gloves to the market promptly, contributing to Covid-19 disease prevention and control efforts.
