In Ha Long City, Sora Bay is taking on a new appearance as the scaffolding is progressively dismantled. As Main Contractor for 130 shophouse units, Viteccons is carrying out finishing works across the project, inside and out.
The façades are receiving decorative mouldings and paint, gradually revealing the form of the shophouse rows facing the bay. This work demands a high degree of precision: the mouldings run the full length of each row, and a deviation on a single unit shows up as an uneven line across the entire street when viewed from a distance.
Running in parallel are tiling, masonry and plastering, floor screeding, external painting, and waterproofing to the roof and stair penthouse areas. For a project this close to the sea, roof waterproofing is not simply a line on the programme — it is the protective layer whose value owners will recognise through every storm season on the bay.

Safety procedures are reinforced throughout, together with the treatment of floor openings and site clearance after each work package is completed.
Safety discipline is not relaxed in the final stretch. This is when the pace is fastest and the greatest number of work fronts are active at once — and also when complacency is most likely.

Handing over in phases, rather than waiting for the entire project to be completed, gives the developer a direct advantage: units finished early can be brought into the commercial programme while the remaining zones continue construction. For a shophouse product, a completed frontage is a unit that buyers can walk into and see for themselves — quality made visible, rather than imagined from a drawing.
