Viteccons Construction Investment JSC only celebrates 10 years of establishment. Prior to this time, Mr. Phan Huy Vinh – former Deputy General Director of Coteccons who had been in construction for 24 years and had almost all his career at Coteccons and now he had returned to take this highest position here. The Investment Bridge Magazine had a meeting with Mr. Vinh in his new position.

Do you have concerns when leaving Coteccons to become CEO at Viteccons?

Coteccons is a big company, the environment still has development. However, at some point, You want to leave. That is the orientation of each person. I fulfilled my role in the old company. After that, I came back here, where I felt comfortable and could do a lot of things, according to my intention.

What is your intention, Sir?

I want to dedicate and work with my heart. At Viteccons, everyone will be able to work according to their expertise, abilities, strengths and be able to frankly express all personal opinions and views. Viteccons operates for the benefit of the collective, everyone cooperates, building a happy working environment.

From your experience, where is the important for a construction company can stand for a long time?

That is to build by trust. In Construction, trust is very important. For internal, if the Leaders don’t keep their words, the employees will lose all their enthusiasm, unstable belief and the company will go down very quickly.

For the shareholders, Investment, people consider based on reality, look at the actions of leaders who are protection the rights. Once investors are disappointed, the company will hardly grow.
For Investors, in addition to complying with commitment, I think it is necessary to be flexible, listen and respect their business ideas and designs. When customers have problems that arise, they need to find solutions together.

Has Viteccons show this spirit on the new logo?

We are repositioned the brand starting with a new logo image with the slogan Build by Heart. New brand with vertical bricks like a vertical building combined into a heart shape, Viteccons wants to convey the message: The company aims to build a right working environment, always understanding the wishes of employees and customer needs. Every decision, action comes from the heart and sincerity.

The new logo design also features wingspan wings, expressing the outreach of Viteccons. The green color symbolizes sincere cooperation, the yellow color means prosperity. From the cooperation, Viteccons will grow and prosper.

Viteccons still a modest company. Is this pressure for you in your new position?

In the quiet real estate market, the construction itself is facing difficulties, few large projects, small and medium-sized companies such as Viteccons have more competitive advantages due to streamline system, The system operates properly and quickly. Currently, the investors are also very knowledgeable about the market and contractors, so there will be a contractor selection that is more suitable to the project scale.

After past 10 years of operation, Viteccons has constructed hundreds of works across the country, trusted by domestic and international investors, creating a little more reputation in the construction with many diverse types, such as: Riviera Point, Lake View city, Ecopark high-class apartment building ... (housing projects); Big C Dalat, Nguyen Kim Commercial Center, Nha Trang Plaza, Indochina Plaza, Viglacera; Fusion Resort Nha Trang; Vinamilk factory, P&G factory, Heineken factory, Bibica factory ... Viteccons is confident about the capacity, experience, technology not inferior to big companies and has become a general contractor of Design and Build (D&B) projects: Saigon 3 Jean, Phuong Nam Panel Fireproof Factory, The 67 ...

Specifically, what is the upcoming step of Viteccons?

We aim to increase the revenue of Viteccons by 5 times in the next 3 years. Firstly, Viteccons started working with big customers such as Vingroup, Novaland, Phuc Khang, Khang Dien, Nam Long ... Some foreign investors such as Central Group, Phu My Hung, or investors from Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, China, Thailand ... have also established cooperation on a number of projects.

Do you believes that Viteccons will change yourself sucessfully?

Viteccons is a gathering place for good people with the same goals. Many people who used to be directors, Deputy Directors, project directors, site manager, technical experts ... at the leading construction companies have come to work for Viteccons. Recently, Viteccons has also converted and upgraded its M&E department into Vireeco Refrigerator Electrical Engineering Joint Stock Company. Vireeco is free to create and expand its operations. These are potential preparation steps, so that Viteccons can make great changes in the next 3-5 years.

He used to be the CEO of Phu Hung Gia, the predecessor of Ricons today. Has the experience helped you in a new role?

I used to turn Phu Hung Gia from a loss company into a development company. During the time of management, Phu Hung Gia not only develops in business but also has a professional and loving working environment like siblings in the family.
